Thank you to the many who contributed to this year’s campaign. As I have written previously, the monies collected help the Archbishop fund his various ministries throughout the Archdiocese. St. Eugene is among the parishes served by these ministries.
LISTENING TO JEWISH VOICES ON JULY 29 AT 6:30 PM IN ROSS HALL
Anti Semitism has rebounded across the globe in recent months. As the Ecumenical and Interfaith Officer for the Archdiocese, I feel it would be good for us to host an evening of conversation with our Jewish neighbors. Rabbi Abby Johnson of Temple Emmanuel and Rachel Johnson, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of OKC will be our guests. I would encourage you to invite your friends to join you for this event. This is an extremely important topic.
BLOOD DRIVE SUNDAY, JULY 14
You can possibly save a life by donating blood after Mass on July 14. Free cookies for all blood donors! AND two free tickets to Frontier City or White Water Bay.
48 HOURS OF EUCHARISTIC DEVOTION BEGINS MONDAY!
Following Monday Mass, we will begin our 48 hours of Eucharistic Devotion. There is still time to sign up for an hour (or more) of devotion. Remember, we will have security on site during the overnight hours. Remember what the Catechism says about Eucharistic Adoration: It is a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of worship toward Christ our Lord.
