Our Summer Series! The Seven Non Negotiables of Catholic Life

Beginning on Wednesday, July 10, I am going to host a five week series entitled the Seven Non Negotiables of a Catholic Life. We will examine the doctrines that Catholics hold essential to the life of faith. For example, one week we’ll look at the various Catholic doctrines about the Virgin Mary; another week we’ll discuss the centrality of the Eucharist.

Each week, we’ll have a food truck available for you to purchase dinner. It promises to be an informative and fun adult education series. I hope you will make plans to join us.

AN UPDATE ON OUR NEW KNEELER

As you probably know, the laity have the right to stand to receive communion, and they have the right to kneel to receive. Currently, we have a rather inadequate kneeler available during Mass. I’ve commissioned a new one and it is being constructed by a master craftsman who specializes in Catholic furnishings.

If you use the kneeler and would like to contribute to the new one, talk with Sharon in the parish office. I think you will appreciate the beauty and the quality of the new kneeler.
