The Offertory, or Collection, at Mass is an integral part of the Sunday liturgy. It is the primary source of funding to pay the parish bills, and it is an expression of our gratitude to God for the blessings He has given us. By our baptism we are called to be stewards of God’s gifts to us, to use them in ways that build up our families, our parish, our community, and our world. In that stewardship, we are encouraged to be deliberate and sacrificial in weighing our various obligations with our limited resources as we decide where to invest our time, money and effort.
Electronic giving is the most consistent means of support and is especially helpful for budgeting. Click the links below or watch the video at the bottom of this page for more information.

Second Collections are taken up at various times throughout the year by a second “passing
of the basket” at Mass. These are determined by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and
provide for local, national, and international needs. The Archdiocese provides a list, and
giving can be done through St. Eugene by envelope or Faith Direct.
Supporting specific ministries that touch your heart is another important way to help the
parish. Make a regular or one-time gift to the school, the tax credit scholarship program,
youth ministry, religious education, the altar society - and so much more. Access Faith Direct
or send a check to the parish office with a note or memo outlining what the gift is for.
The Annual Catholic Appeal is an annual campaign that pays for the work of the shared
ministries of the Church in central and western Oklahoma. This includes formation of
deacons, caring for retired priests, and training and programs for youth, young adult and
campus ministry; marriage and family life and much more.
Leaving a Gift in Your Will to St. Eugene can help ensure the vitality of this community long
after you’ve met your heavenly reward. To start a conversation about gifts in wills, donor
advised funds, giving a gift of stock, giving through your IRA or other planned giving
instruments, please contact the Parish Office at (405) 751-7115 or [email protected].
