SCF (Small Communities of Faith) is a growing ministry of disciples in the making. We are a large community consisting of many small communities who meet regularly to encounter Christ through spirit-filled discussions of Scripture and Catholic teachings, along with the accompaniment and encouragement of our priests.
OUR MISSION
To multiply lay intentional disciples guided by the Holy Spirit who are equipped to share and live out the gospel while supporting and encouraging each other in the process.
“And what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will have the ability to teach others as well.” 2 Timothy 2:2
OUR GOALS
Develop a personal relationship with Jesus and a heart for the lost.
Identify and create opportunities for encounter, conversion, and invitation into discipleship.
Encourage unity in the body of Christ by building community at St. Eugene.
Foster preparedness for evangelization through Scripture/Discipleship study and faith discussion in facilitated small groups.

Lord Jesus,
Send the gift of your Spirit upon these your servants, who seek your friendship with open heart and thirsting lives.
May their anticipation of your graces prepare them to continue their yesses to your will,
and open the pathway of conversion in their lives.
May they seek always to be at one with You in your gift of reconciliation and peace and may the joy they have found in your gift of saving love infect all those in their lives that they may be a conduit of grace to the whole world.
Fill them with the conviction of your Spirit that they, like St. Peter, may stand among those who gather in their lives that they might witness the gifts of your will.
Bring them all close to the life of holiness and goodness that their way of life might inspire others to goodness and truth.
And enliven them. So that they may be good spouses to one another, patient parents to their children, communal neighbors on their streets, and gifted believers among all who depend upon them.
May your Holy Spirit free them to speak of you to all and may they be worthy servants of your will.
We ask this in your name Jesus, who lives and reigns with the Father who sends the Holy Spirit one God forever and ever. Amen.
